Role: Senior C# / WPF Developer

Location: Cambridge (onsite 3 days)

Salary: £55k - £65k

Join a pioneering life-science start-up of 4 years and plenty of investment based in Cambridge, they are at the forefront of single-cell analysis technology. They have developed a revolutionary groundbreaking device / platform that manipulates microscopic droplets that test drug treatments on cells, such as cancer, with the aim of accelerating effective treatments to save lives.

This is a great opportunity to work on impactful technology that can change and help save lives.

They are currently seeking a Senior C# WPF developer to play a crucial role in the team of 14. In this hands-on position, you will oversee and mentor a section of developers while contributing directly to the development of their suite of desktop applications and embedded software that powers their revolutionary device. Your expertise will drive improvements across full life-cycle development, including desktop, embedded and future web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor team members while actively participating in hands on development.

Develop and enhance desktop applications and embedded software using C# WPF

Design and implement complex algorithms, image analysis, and machine learning features

Collaborate on graphics-intensive projects, provide code reviews, and support team members.

Engage in requirement gathering, software build processes, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience with C# WPF, demonstrating strong technical skills and a people focused approach.

Solid background in source control, Agile methodologies and technical best practices.
