ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with prior SEN experience to cover a long-term vacancy in the Shrewsbury area for the entirety of the Autumn Term.
The role
This role will include:
Full time cover from 8.30-15:30.
Supporting a child with complex needs on a 1:1 basis.
To start from as soon as possible and will be an ongoing role.
The school
This will be based at a two form entry school based in the outer region of Shrewsbury, is easily commutable from the city centre.
Requirements
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Be a compassionate person with a nurturing personality.
Must have previous experience working with Special Educational Needs.
Any applicants for this role will ideally have a childcare qualification, however any applicants with relevant experience to this role will also be able to apply.
Be willing to commit to full time hours.
Be able to gain references from relevant roles from the last 2 years.
Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
