Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a background in school administration? Do you hold or have had first aid training qualification? We are seeking a full-time School administrator to join our team at a PRU School in Walsall. This is a critical role that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and the wider school community.
As the School Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Managing and implementing policies and procedures related to the safety and health of students
Coordinating first aid responses and providing appropriate medical assistance as needed (on Wednesday)
Maintaining accurate records and reports of incidents and accidents
Providing support and guidance to students and staff on welfare-related issues
Collaborating with external agencies and organizations to ensure the welfare of students
Carry out general administrative duties
Supporting the SEN department with their administration
The ideal candidate will possess:
Holds or had a first aid training and willing to complete and update first aid training
Current enhanced first aid training and certification
Has experience working in schools with SIMS experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with young people
A desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students and the wider school community.
