Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager with a strong focus on Quality Assurance (QA) to oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP works are executed in strict accordance with the construction design and specifications. This role involves continuous on-site monitoring, from the first fix through to final finishes, testing, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
* On-Site Monitoring: Oversee the MEP installation process on-site, ensuring works are carried out according to the approved construction designs and specifications.
* Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain QA procedures to ensure all MEP works meet the required standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
* Testing and Commissioning: Witness and validate pressure tests, system tests, and other necessary inspections to confirm that MEP systems are functioning correctly.
* Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues that arise during the MEP installation process.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of MEP works, highlighting any deviations from the design or potential issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
* Documentation: Ensure all relevant documentation, including test reports, certificates, and as-built drawings, are accurately maintained and submitted in a timely manner.
* Compliance: Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in MEP management within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction design processes, MEP systems, and QA/QC procedures.
* Experience in witnessing and validating MEP system tests and commissioning activities.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing engineering or a related field.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to work on-site full-time with occasional travel as required.
