Project Coordinator (Materials Development – Commercial)

An opportunity to join an established team with a market leading supplier to the drinks industry in an unique new role working in materials development.

Do you have experience working in manufacturing, materials and customer service?

Have you worked in Planning, Project, Account Management or Co-ordination role?

This is a great role to develop and be the lead contact for customer projects with a long established and fast growing business.

Purpose of the Project Coordinator is to manage the customer pipeline, take ownership of the customer project, from inception to delivery. You will taking the initial enquiry, understand the requirements, ensure the viability and manage the project and ensure smooth completion for the client.

The role duties include:

* Establishing customer requirements

* Providing samples, pricing and supply details,

* Ensuring projects are delivered in line with customer demands,

* Progress chasing and liaising with internal and external customers including supply chain partners, design agencies and breweries.

* Coordinating and dealing with materials, specifications, pricing, stock and tooling.

* Review customer orders

* Updating product inventory and control documents.

* General Administration

The ideal candidate will have a methodical approach, excellent analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail, numerate and professional business skills communicating at all levels. A good working knowledge of IT.

Working with the Materials Development team you will be a collaborative team player with an innovative and solutions based persona.

Hours are 08:00-16:45 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 15:30 Friday, excellent benefits, 23 days holidays + bank Holidays and Xmas holiday (3 days designated)

Salary in the range of £28,000-£32,000 Per annum, depending on level of experience and or qualifications obtained.

Due to the location of the business, own transport will be required.
