The company has multiple sites across the UK, with a turnover of over 1 billion pounds globally, providing a range of products, they pride themselves on manufacturing high-standard products as The company has been successfully trading for over 40 years and has recently experienced high demands due to the demands of the market, the company is now looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a double-day shift to add support and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department.
ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers from the manufacturing sector based in the Birmingham area or someone close by.
Key accountabilities for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
Maintain electrical components such as panels, sensors, relays, safety circuits, and motors
React to breakdowns.
Planned Preventative Maintenance
Oversee Maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
Maintaining mechanical components such as pneumatics, Hydraulics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes.
Electrical and Mechanical fault finding
PLC fault-finding skills diagnosis & repair of industrial machinery
Replace and repair electrical components.
Requirements for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer
An experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer, working environment,
A good understanding of electrical engineering.
A hands-on, team Player.
Qualifications Minimum NVQ level 3, apprenticeship, city, and guilds
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
