We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our well-established clients who is a leading joinery manufacturer as they continue to grow, they are now seeking a Woodwork machinist to join the team
Pay Rate: up to £15.50 per hour DOE. In order to be considered for the higher rate you must have a minimum of 1 year experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm and Friday 7pm to 1pm
Full time ongoing role
It is essential you are able to know and select the correct timber types and which oaks to use
· Experience with edge banders, spindle moulders, straight line and cross cut etc. is preferred
• Previous experience of working on woodworking machinery, ideally in a joinery environment
• Able to confidently operate hand tools (drills, saws etc.) when necessary
• A keen eye for detail and able to follow technical instruction
• Candidates must be committed and passionate about doing the job to the best of their ability
• A good attendance record and time keeping is essential
• Maintain housekeeping to the highest of standards
• Take pride in their own work and carry out their own quality check
• Be able to manage their own workload and keep to deadlines
• Adhere to Health and safety regulations at all times
