Job Summary:

You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the financial transactions and the accuracy of the general ledger accounts for SupplyCore and affiliated business units including real estate and retail.  You will also use judgement, skill, and discretion to perform other financial duties as requested by the Executive Team and/or required by business operations. You will regularly assist the Director of Finance or the CFO with special projects.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

Affiliate Businesses:

Manage cash flow for various entities.

Re-negotiate insurance policies

Monthly journal entries for end of month closing.

Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

Create consolidated financials for the real estate business units that review monthly financial status and YTD fluctuations from budget.

Create and maintain budgets and cash flow projections to be used on a monthly and annual basis.

Work with vendors for quotes on R&M items and manage the timeline of R&M items completion.

Assist as needed with monthly invoicing of residential and commercial tenants, as well as resolving payment disputes.

For tenants that are triple net, work to estimate CAM items and reconcile at the end of each applicable period (monthly or annually).

Assist on lease renewals and negotiations with current and potential tenants. 

Maintain document support for each of these tasks for reperformance and ease of audit.

Financial audit coordination with various agencies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

5 years of experience in the accounting field.  May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience. 

Experience in historic tax credits recommended.

Use judgement and discretion to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP.

Attention to detail as there are numerous entities being managed and maintained, thus there are several bank accounts, insurance policies and similar data to perform due diligence over.

Self-driven and proactive in nature.  Takes initiative to resolve challenges. 

Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and patterns is crucial for making informed decisions.

Integrity: Trust is a fundamental aspect of accounting and maintaining high ethical standards and transparency in record keeping and transactions recording.

Adaptability: SupplyCore and affiliated companies can evolve and change overtime leading to exposure to new softwares and recording practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.

PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Familiarity to softwares such as Yardi Breeze, Quickbooks, EnterpriseOne, and Dundas is ideal.
