Polytec are looking for a CNC Operator for our client based in Ely.

Responsibilities:

* Load and run a variety of CNC machines
* Ensure machines are scheduled and loaded to meet demand
* Unload and hand finish components
* Assist CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production components
* Ensure quality of components produced meets requirements
* Weekly machine maintenance and 5S tasks

Requirements:

* Working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machines
* Experience working with micron level precision
* Machine loading and operation experience
* Basic understanding of engineering drawings
* Knowledge of 5-axis milling and Wire EDM would be beneficial
* Knowledge of multi-pallet, high mix, low volume machining would be helpful
* Apprenticeship trained or similar experience considered
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Machine Shop environment.
