Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in the Thames Valley region on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the preparation and negotiation of contracts related to water projects
Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
Managing contract modifications, claims, and dispute resolutions
Working closely with project managers to align contractual obligations with project goals
Providing guidance on contractual matters to project teams
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Monitoring contract performance and providing regular reports
Ensuring all contractual documents are properly filed and maintained
Job Requirements:
Experience in managing contracts within the water sector
Strong understanding of contract law and regulations
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in contract management software and related tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Relevant degree or professional qualification in contract management or a related field
