Maintenance Electrician | Light Commercial Environments | OTE: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum | Bournemouth | Travel Time Pay Scheme (detailed below) | Weekly Pay | Company Van + Fuel Card & Employment Package.
Due to a new contract and existing contract expansion, we are seeking qualified Electricians to join our growing team! You will be working across a range of light commercial environments (ie: pubs, restaurants, retail stores, supermarkets, care homes etc), carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), fault finding and repairs across a range of electrical systems.
Earnings: £42,000 Basic Salary / £17.95 per hour
* 45 hour week (standard): £42,000 per annum
* 50 hour week: £49,000 - £51,000 per annum
* 55 hour week: £54,000 - £59,000 per annum
Package: What's in it for you?
* Permanent, PAYE Position
* Weekly Pay Schedule
* Standard basic hours: 07:30am - 5:30pm including travel time. (Site Hours estimated 08:30am - 5:00pm)
* No deductions for lunch break: Standard Week, out of the house for 50 hours, paid for 45.
* Locations: Bournemouth and Surrounding areas (within maximum of 60/90 minute radius of home address)
* Travel time: D2D (Door to Door) Pay minus 30 minutes each way.
* Overtime Rates: x1.5 rate Mon-Sat 06:00am - 23:59pm / x2 rate rate Mon-Sat 00:00-05:59 / anytime Sundays and bank Holidays.
* Call Out Rota: £80 per call out + overtime rates paid after 1st hour on-site.
* Company van, fuel card, uniform and phone provided
* Company pension, 28 days paid annual leave (inc BH) etc.
* Training and progression opportunities: internal courses, testing and inspection certificates etc.
Duties:
* Electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, single / 3 phase power supplies, power distribution, power isolation, fuse boards, lighting (emergency / safety, decorative, security), LED / Lighting upgrades, ballasts / lamps, electrical components within HVAC equipment, installing / replacing electrical appliances / accessories (ie: maglocks), access control panels, sockets, circuits etc.
* Updating company CAFM system, ie: logging in/out of jobs, providing detailed job notes/updates of works etc.
* Adhering to health and safety / compliance policies.
* Updating the office on availability.
* Liaising with clients as and when needed in a client facing role.
Requirements:
* Must be a qualified Electrician in the UK (ie: NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2330 Level 3, City and Guilds 236 Part 2 or equivalent).
* If you hold non UK qualifications, you may need to have these converted/verified by UK Naric / UK Enic.
* 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Testing and Inspection qualifications would be a bonus but not essential.
* Experience carrying out maintenance and minor installations in commercial / light commercial environments.
* Able to legally work and drive in the UK.
