Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our client's dynamic team in Blyth.

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical engineering maintenance work on all electrical services, systems, plant, and equipment. You will also be involved in both planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns. In addition, you will be responsible for electrical installations, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with current regulations.

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cargo handling equipment, including FLT, cranes, and heavy plant. If you have previous experience working with these types of equipment both mechanically and electrically, this will be a significant advantage.

You will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of cargos. Therefore, the successful candidates will be required to learn all aspects of Stevedoring including operating plant & equipment where required.

To be considered you must have the following:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, services, and regulations
Experience working with cargo handling equipment (FLT, cranes, and heavy plant) is highly advantageous
Ability to diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
