We're currently working with a leading Civil Engineering company with a nationwide footprint. They are currently looking for a Heavy Plant Workshop Manager to join the business to assist with their next stage of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected & well known brand within the Heavy Plant Industry.
Heavy Plant Workshop Manager
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working within the plant sector and ideally have a technical understanding of how large machinery works. You will be a proven Workshop/Foreman/Supervisory/Service Manager who has previously overseen warranties, damages out, service contracts and more. You will be commercially minded & understand customer requirements.
The day to day role of the Workshop Manager will be to oversee a team of Mobile Engineers, Workshop Engineers & Service Controllers, making sure they are working efficiently as possible to maximise efficiency! You will be used to standard process within a Service department including warranties, damages out, service contracts, H&S, lead times and third party contract management & finally oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard..

• Managing a team of engineers, controllers & yard staff
• Liaising with customers & building relationships
• Accountable for departmental Health and Safety compliance
