Management Accountant - Corporate Services Group

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (dependent on relevant experience)

Cedar are working with a highly successful accountancy practice in their search for a talented Management Accountant to join their dynamic Corporate Services Group. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-level management accounting services to a diverse and prestigious client base, including UK and multinational companies, high-net-worth individuals, and senior business professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and prepare management accounts for a portfolio of UK and multinational clients.
Advise on VAT and PAYE matters, including reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns.
Provide financial support to startups, including implementing accounting and financial systems.
Oversee UK financial reporting, including annual accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
Lead project work, such as financial investigations and occasional client secondments.
Review and report on financial information systems.
Develop and mentor junior staff within the department.
Manage multi-currency accounting and offer general business advice across a wide range of subjects.

Requirements:

Working towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA OR CIMA)
Proven management accounting experience, preferably beyond audit environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with high-profile clients.
Ability to manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver accurate information under tight deadlines.
Excellent IT skills, with experience in accounting software like Xero, Infor10, and Sage.
Leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
