As the Health & Safety Lead, you will manage a team of HS&E professionals and lead the development and implementation of health and safety policies, providing guidance to ensure compliance and best practices.
This organisation is committed to building strong communities. With over 1,500 employees and management of around 40,000 homes in Liverpool and the surrounding area, they are the region's largest affordable housing provider, focused on support, investment, development, and regeneration.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead and mentor a team of HS&E professionals.
Collaborate with contractors, senior management, and external stakeholders (HSE, EHO, Fire Authority, FSI).
Conduct reports, accident investigations, and staff meetings.
Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Qualifications:
NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent health and safety qualification.
Chartered membership of IOSH (or working towards it).
Stong organisational and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Benefits:
