Health and Safety Lead
Salary: Up to £70k
Location: Manchester

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Health and Safety Lead to oversee the operational and delivery functions of a well-established construction consultancy's Health and Safety department. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team delivering key projects across the North of England, with a strong existing client base and an order book already secured for the financial year.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of CDM Principal Designer and Building Regulations Principal Designer roles.
Provide construction health and safety advice across various projects.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring high standards of health and safety across all sites.
Report directly to the board on competency, service delivery, and financial performance.
Drive the organic growth of the health and safety team, aligning with secured workload.
Maintain and enhance the company’s health and safety processes, procedures, and tools.
Ensure team competence and continuous development in line with industry standards.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven leadership experience in Health and Safety within the construction sector.
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and construction health and safety protocols.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and business skills.
Ability to work with a range of clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
