JOB SUMMARY
* Location: Wales
* Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term
* Package: Based on experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic Site Manager for our project in Wales. The Site Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of energy efficiency projects at Surefire Management Services Ltd.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and budgeting to team management and quality control. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions that benefit our clients and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Oversee the smooth running of energy efficiency projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Team Management: Manage a team of 30-80 contractors, providing clear guidance and support to ensure efficient project execution
* Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and implementing preventative measures
* Quality Assurance: Inspect projects at various stages to verify that work is completed to the required specifications and standards
* Contractual Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including KPIs and paperwork submission
Job Requirements
* Proven experience in managing energy efficiency projects, including EWI, boiler upgrades, PV, loft insulation, glazing, roof replacements, and more.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills Required
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, construction techniques, and project management methodologies
* Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and inspire teams, delegate effectively, and resolve conflicts
* Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to identify and address challenges proactively, finding innovative solutions
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
