Job Title: CNC Programmer Setter Operator – Milling & Turning
Location: Berkshire
Salary: £18 - £20 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer Setter Operator with expertise in either milling or turning.
Our ideal candidate will have strong experience with Heidenhain or Mazak control systems and the ability to program, set, and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This role offers the opportunity to work directly from customer drawings in a dynamic and supportive precision engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines (Heidenhain) or CNC turning machines (Mazak/FANUC).
* Produce high-precision parts for the Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Healthcare, and Motorsports industries.
* Work with a variety of materials, ensuring close tolerances and high-quality standards.
* Perform in-process inspections to ensure all components meet customer specifications.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating in either milling or turning (or both).
* Familiarity with Heidenhain, Mazak, or FANUC control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* A time-served apprenticeship in engineering is preferred
