PS Ltd are looking for a CNC Programmer/Setter for the manufacturing company in Sheffield, S9 area (near Meadowhall) *** This is a permanent position ***
Pay - £17.25ph (£35,000pa)
Working hours - Monday to Thursday 6am - 4.15pm 4 days working week
Responsibilities:
* Operate Mazak, Mori-sciki CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or mazatrol controls
* Program from engineering drawings to ensure the accurate production of components.
* Perform quality control, tooling, and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
* Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or mazatrol controls.
* Conduct regular quality checks for accuracy and precision.
* Maintain and care for machinery, including tooling and equipment
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
Skills and Requirements:
* Proven experience in CNC Turning with relevant controls.
* Ability to program from engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing production need
* CNC programming: 1 year (required)
* Turning and Milling: 1 year (required)
* Mazatrol: 1 year (required)
