As we expand our services, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to join our team and help make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in our care.

Role Overview:
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Children's Support Workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided to the children and young people we work with. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and providing hands-on support to children with varying needs. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Childrens Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and support.
· Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging children to engage in activities that promote their development and well-being.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures.
· Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
· Conduct regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and appraisals to maintain high standards of care and performance.
· Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to coordinate support and ensure holistic care for each child.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Previous experience working in a childrens residential or support setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
· Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above) or equivalent.
· Strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
· A caring and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.

. Have an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willing to process a new one through Prospero

. Be able to provide an up-to-date CV that dates back to education with dates for all employment.

. Be able to provide 3 years professional references.
