Job Title: Electrical Installation Assessor

Location: King’s Cross, London

Contract Type: Temporary Cover

Start Date: 2nd September 2024

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Assessor to join an FE College based in King’s Cross on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Level 1 Electrical courses to new groups of students.
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Ensure all teaching and assessment practices meet the required standards.
Support students in achieving their learning goals and preparing for assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Qualifications and Experience:

A recognized qualification in Electrical Installation or a related field.
A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
Proven experience in teaching Electrical courses, particularly at Level 1.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students.
Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
Desirable Skills:

Experience with assessment and verification processes.
Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies in Electrical Installation.
Ability to use digital learning tools and platforms.
