PSR are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for a Quality Manager.
The business has a strong reputation delivering quality projects up to £150m within key sectors of the built environment.
Salary circa £70,000 plus package.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for all construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Review and approve construction materials and workmanship to ensure they meet required standards.
Support the operational team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective quality control.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and work with the team to implement best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in construction quality management.Experience of the Contracts Manager:
Must have a strong understanding of industry standards (ISO 90001)
Preferably hold ISO qualifications
Preferably a degree in Construction Management or related field
Must have an in depth knowledge of Construction processes, materials and quality standards.
Preferably holding certification in Quality Management.Benefits to the Quality Manager:
