Berkshire, United Kingdom
Construction
Immediate Start
£70k - £75k Annual
Full-Time
Quality Manager (ideally from a project manager background) - Major Projects
Berkshire / London
Permanent
This leading top 50 building contractor covers a range of projects mostly within the commercial, life sciences and education sectors - typical contract values between £30m - £70m.
The company is looking to employ a Quality Manager - but not a traditional quality manager! This could very much suit a Project Manager type who is looking to take a side-step in their career, who can still use their knowledge and experience.
The role would involve looking after 3 regions, reporting to a Head of Quality. The Quality Manager would have to wear two hats (not literally): the business systems hat (documentation and systems) but also the technical hat (so a Project Manager type, who comes from site and understands about installations, fire-stopping, and CDM etc.).
What the client is looking for:
·Longevity - time spent with previous employers
·Hands on, gets involved - not just a policeman/policewoman
·Experience - so they get respect and give respect to others.
·Used to working in project teams - team player
·Good attitude
·Fit in to a good culture (and add to)
·Collaborative approach
This role could also be referred to as: Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, Project Manager or Quality Manager
