Job Title: General Manager - Warehousing & Transport

About the Role:

As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the operations of a 4PL and in-house logistics environment. You will lead and direct teams across warehousing and transport, ensuring efficient processes, cost-effective operations, and outstanding service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operations of warehousing and transport, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
Manage and direct teams to achieve operational excellence, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee the operation of a 4PL, ensuring efficient management of resources and strong supplier relationships.
Drive cost savings and process improvements across all logistics functions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior management role within warehousing and transport, within a 4PL or 3PL environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
Excellent understanding of logistics operations, including transport management and warehousing processes.
