Interim Finance Manager (6-month contract) – Near Liverpool UK - Full-time onsite
A leading £150M Engineering/FM organisation near Liverpool is seeking a qualified Interim Finance Manager for a 6-month contract starting in the next 2 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-on day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
* Support the year-end/statutory reporting
* Hands-on involvement in the 2025 budget process.
* End to end month end close
* Work closely with the finance team to implement process improvements and increase efficiency
* Identify and implement systems improvements
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven hands-on finance experience
* Experience working in the engineering, facilities management, or construction sectors
* Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills
* Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical abilities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Contract Details:
* Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
* Happy to be onsite 5 days/week
* Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
* IR35 Status: Outside
