Major recruitment are delighted to partner with this Gateshead based company who are looking for an experienced Administrator to join their sales team on a temporary basis.
You will be responsible for efficiently inputting and processing customer inquiries, quotations, and orders using ERP and CRM systems. Your primary goal will be to leverage your experience to enhance customer satisfaction by reducing response times and streamlining the customer experience.
You will adhere to company procedures, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed within the expected timeframes and meet internal KPIs. Working closely with the Quotation Team, you will actively follow up on customer orders and provide support whenever possible.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders in a timely and efficient manner utilising the ERP and CRM system
* Oversee and log day to day enquiries coming into the team and out to the customers with the support of the Sales Engineers and Coordinators
* Represent the customer interests within the business to assist in finding resolution to requests in a timely manner
* Support the Coordinators with the measurement of departmental KPIs
* Comply with all departmental and company procedures at all times
* Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
* Ensure all company policies surrounding health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met
Essential:
* Computer literacy (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
Desirable:
* Experience in a similar position
* Experience within a sales environment
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
This is a full time contract position for 6 months.
