They are now looking to recruit an Internal Sales Administrator to support the business on a permanent basis. You will be joining a great North-East people focused organisation with a strong history, a fantastic leadership team who have a clear forward-thinking vision, and the role offers a secure positive future.
The Job you’ll do
* Input orders to the ERP system in a timely manner
* Handling inbound customer and representative sales calls
* Liaise with customers and the finance department to obtain required missing information to process orders
* Basic customer complaint administration
* Order inbox triage
* New customer set up
* Use of the Part Configurator
* Liaise across internal departments to ensure customers’ needs are met
* Support the external sales function
* Support the wider team functions and carry out other tasks where required
* Improve processes to increase operational excellence within the Technical Sales arena.
* Act as liaison between customers and other departments, ensuring accurate and timely relay of information to achieve and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
About You
* Previous internal sales or a customer focused role within manufacturing or engineering is essential.
* Experience working with an ERP system.
* Positive and enthusiastic with effective interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects
* Appetite for continuous learning/improvement
* Clear, articulate communication skills both oral and written, including telephone manner
* Good knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Experience of working with IT systems
