Our client specialises in commercial design and build projects across the UK. This brilliant, family-run business has been operating for over 10 years and has a strong and reliable client base, providing them with consistent work.
About the role:
The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth project delivery and maintaining high standards. Key responsibilities include attending client meetings alongside Sales and Design teams as needed, obtaining quotes for bespoke items, and collating Scopes of Works. The candidate will also be responsible for costing project variations and obtaining necessary approvals from clients, as well as coordinating with the Finance department on invoicing requirements.
In addition, the role requires active participation in Sales meetings to stay informed about the upcoming project pipeline and potential business opportunities. Building and maintaining healthy, long-term relationships with vendors, clients, and other project coordinators is crucial for ensuring project success and fostering a collaborative working environment. The candidate will need to review all project documents carefully to identify any potential issues or discrepancies and implement cost-saving measures where feasible.
A deep understanding of project requirements is necessary, and the candidate should be capable of negotiating construction prices with subcontractors to achieve competitive bids. The role also involves participating in Handover Meetings with Design, Sales, and Project teams before work commences to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Additionally, ensuring all project documentation is completed, reviewed, and signed is essential to maintain compliance and project integrity.
