Mechanical Project Manager (South West)

Location: South West, with travel to London as required

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Innotech Partners are working with a leading specialist in mechanical & Electrical engineering with over 30 years of experience in the leisure, commercial, retail, and shop-fitting industries. Their services include electrical installations, plumbing & heating, gas, and HVAC systems. They deliver high-quality commercial installation projects, ranging from offices to bars, restaurants, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Role Overview:

Mechanical Project Manager to join the team in the South West. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong background in mechanical project management, including design, estimating, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of mechanical projects, from initial design to final handover.
Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Handle estimating for mechanical projects, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, ensuring timely and quality completion of work.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Work collaboratively with the electrical department and other teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Travel as required to project sites across the South West and London.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally within commercial installations.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design, estimating, and financial management.
Extensive experience in managing sub-contractors and project programming.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
