Job title: Trainee Production Technician
Salary: £25,949 per annum
Location: Dover
Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays!
Role summary:
You will be testing, fault-finding down to component level, repairing and calibrating a variety of electronic products ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Fault find, repair, calibrate and test electronic field and bench type equipment.
Fault find and repair at printed circuit board level, including replacing surface mount components.
Follow test specifications and safe systems of work, adhering to COSHH and risk assessments.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and represent Manufacturing in New Product Development teams.Experience and skills required:
Education to Level 3 standard (A-level, BTEC or equivalent), in an electronic discipline (or equivalent).
Previous hands-on experience in a technical or electronics environment.
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Ability to read and understand schematics, manuals, or circuit diagrams.
Awareness of engineering/mechanical drawings.
Ability to follow instructions with excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
