We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take responsibility for overseeing health and safety across multiple commercial construction schemes throughout the Oxford and Bristol regions.
This is an autonomous role for a proactive health and safety professional who can provide strong leadership, support site teams, and ensure the highest standards of compliance are maintained across a varied project portfolio.
The successful candidate will have a strong construction background, with the ability to work independently, influence project teams, and drive a positive health and safety culture across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee health and safety across multiple commercial construction projects
Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Provide guidance and support to project teams and site management
Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and company standards
Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of commercial construction environments
Ability to manage multiple sites and work autonomously
Excellent communication and influencing skills
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) preferred
