This flagship scheme comprises a world-class stadium/arena alongside a premium hotel, offering a rare opportunity to join a project that will become a benchmark within the UK construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quality Manager to work alongside an experienced Quality team, supporting the delivery of exceptional standards across a complex, high-profile development. Whether your experience has been gained within main contracting, specialist subcontracting or site engineering, this role offers genuine long-term career progression with one of the industry's leading contractors.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Quality Manager and wider site delivery team, you'll help ensure all aspects of construction are delivered in line with company quality standards, client expectations and project specifications.
You'll gain exposure across both the stadium/arena and premium hotel elements of the project, supporting quality assurance from structural works through to high-end internal fit-out and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of the project's Quality Management System.
Assist with inspections, audits and quality assurance processes across site.
Monitor workmanship and ensure works comply with specifications, drawings and industry standards.
Help manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality records and project documentation.
Work alongside construction, engineering and subcontractor teams to resolve quality issues.
Assist with snagging, defect management and handover activities.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and right-first-time delivery.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Experience within the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
Previous exposure to quality assurance, site engineering, site management or project delivery.
Familar with Dalux or similar - Procure / Fieldview
An understanding of construction processes and quality management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
A proactive approach with the confidence to build positive relationships across site teams.
Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
