Quality Manager
£50,000 DOE
Yolk Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of an experienced Quality Manager for a leading manufacturing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional to take ownership of the company's Quality Management System, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure products and processes consistently meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across the business, supporting operational teams, managing audits, improving processes, and promoting a culture of quality excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, proven experience managing quality systems, and a passion for delivering continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Own and maintain the company's Quality Management System ensuring compliance with relevant standards and driving ongoing improvements.
Develop and improve quality processes, procedures, and documentation to support operational excellence.
Lead internal audits, quality reviews, and corrective action processes to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.
Monitor quality performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance processes and standards.
Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business, working closely with operational teams to embed best practice.
Manage supplier quality performance, ensuring suppliers meet required standards and expectations.
Maintain accurate quality records, traceability, and documentation in line with company requirements.
Provide quality guidance, training, and support to employees to promote a strong quality culture.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.This is what you'll need:
Proven experience working as a Quality Manager or in a senior quality role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience managing corrective actions, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
