DK Recruitment are recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer on behalf of a leading commercial Facilities Management company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established FM provider delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The Role
As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs across a variety of commercial sites. Working independently, you'll ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
* Complete a range of carpentry, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
* Repair doors, locks, windows, ceilings, flooring and partition walls.
* Undertake painting, decorating, patch plastering and tiling repairs.
* Carry out basic plumbing works, including repairs to taps, toilets and associated pipework.
* Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance issues.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and health & safety legislation.
* Accurately complete job reports and update the CAFM system using a handheld device.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
About You
* Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer, Handyperson or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative.
* Strong all-round knowledge of commercial building fabric maintenance.
* Experience within commercial Facilities Management is highly desirable.
* Competent in carpentry, decorating, basic plumbing and general building repairs.
* Good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
