The Role
As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you'll carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings. You'll be responsible for ensuring sites remain safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs.
* Complete carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general building maintenance tasks.
* Repair doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, walls and windows.
* Undertake basic plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets and pipework.
* Carry out patch plastering, tiling and painting where required.
* Complete minor roofing and external building repairs.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
* Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance reports using handheld devices.
* Build positive relationships with clients and site representatives.
About You
* Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer, Handyperson or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative.
* Strong all-round building fabric maintenance skills.
* Experience working within commercial Facilities Management is desirable.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, decorating and general maintenance.
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
