The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Network Engineer to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.

As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment within our clients' organisations, in return, we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support.

What you'll do

• Provide engineering support for enterprise network infrastructure and services.
• Investigate and resolve complex network incidents, problems and technical issues.
• Deliver network changes, upgrades and improvement initiatives.
• Support major incidents and contribute to service restoration activities.
• Assist with network design, implementation and transformation projects.
• Support Unified Communications platforms and maintain accurate technical documentation.

What you bring

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer supporting complex enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Networking, including CCNA/CCNP, routing, switching and enterprise Cisco infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in network operations, technical troubleshooting, incident resolution and service restoration.
• Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN), including Cisco ACI, Cisco SD-WAN and/or Cisco SD-Access.
• Knowledge of network security technologies, including Check Point and/or Palo Alto Firewalls, security changes and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies such as F5 Load Balancers, Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM), data centre networking and enterprise change management processes.
