Location: Broughton in Milton Keynes. MK10
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour + Sleep-In Payments (where applicable)

Our client is looking for caring, reliable and committed Bank Residential Care Workers to join their dedicated children's residential care team. This flexible role is ideal for experienced care professionals looking to work around existing commitments while making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.
Working on a bank basis, you'll provide high-quality care and support in a warm, safe and nurturing home environment, helping children develop confidence, independence and positive life experiences.
The Role
As a Bank Residential Care Worker, you will:
Provide high-quality, child-centred care and support.
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
Support daily routines, education, activities and life skills development.
Promote positive behaviour using nurturing and relationship-based approaches.
Encourage emotional wellbeing, resilience and independence.
Maintain accurate records and complete daily documentation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
Experience working with children or young people in residential care, education, youth work or a similar setting.
A caring, patient and resilient nature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins where required.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards the qualification).
Previous experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's home is advantageous.
Enhanced DBS and satisfactory pre-employment checks are required.
