Immediate Start
£25k - £25k Annual
Full-Time
Stores Packing Operative

Location - Leeds
Salary: From £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, full-time

About the role

Our client is looking for a careful, methodical Stores Packing Operative to join their stores team in Leeds.
This role goes beyond simple packing. You'll be responsible for preparing a wide range of goods for dispatch — from small, low-value items to fragile and high-value test equipment — where accuracy, presentation and final checks really matter.

If you take pride in doing things properly, double-checking details and sending goods out exactly as they should be, you'll fit in well with our client.

What you'll be doing

Packing goods securely and professionally for dispatch
Identifying and cross-checking products against paperwork and shipping labels
Ensuring product descriptions, quantities and destinations are correct
Carrying out final visual and paperwork checks before items leave site
Working closely with colleagues to keep the stores organised, tidy, and flowing smoothly
Transport goods between service department and stores
Some days are steady and controlled; others require a bit more pace — but quality and accuracy always come first.

What we're looking for

Previous warehouse or packing experience is advantageous but not essential
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Comfortable working with paper-based checks and documentation
Reliable, conscientious and able to work well as part of a small team
Someone who takes responsibility for their work and takes pride in getting it right
This role suits someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and being trusted with responsibility.

About our client

Our client is an established UK business. Based in Leeds, they work in close partnership with world-renowned manufacturers, servicing a variety of customers from independent tradespeople to some of the largest companies in the UK.

They are known for their high standards, professionalism and long-term relationships with customers — and that same care extends to how they treat their team.

You'll be working in a warm, friendly stores environment with a team of five people, where everyone's contribution is valued and quality genuinely matters.

What they offer

Salary from £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus additional entitlement for long-serving staff
Company pension scheme
Health benefit scheme
Free onsite parking
Annual discretionary bonus
Stable, permanent employment with a respected UK business

If you're looking for a reliable, weekday role in a supportive environment — where attention to detail is valued and your work makes a real difference — we'd love to hear from you
