Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the chemical manufacturing sector for a Site Operations Supervisor to join their team at their site in LS3 (Kirkstall).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive supervisor to work within a quality-driven manufacturing environment, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of site operations.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.
The Role
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday
Location: Kirkstall, Leeds
Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum DOE

Key Responsibilities:
Support the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of site operations
Coordinate planned site activities and respond effectively to operational issues
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and industry regulations
Maintain high standards in line with quality management processes
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency
Monitor operational performance and costs to support productivity targets
Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting safe and effective working practices
Work closely with senior management on site improvement projects and business initiatives
Manage third-party contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within budget
Support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the site
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members
Promote a positive Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance at all times
What We're Looking For:
Level 4 HNC or similar in Mechanical Engineering and some Electrical bias experience
Industrial boiler experience is essential, BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) would be an advantage
Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing, production, operations, or industrial environment
Strong understanding of site operations and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with senior management
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and team leadership abilities
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence
