We Do Social Work is recruiting an experienced Educational Psychologist to join a forward-thinking local authority committed to improving outcomes for children and young people aged 0–25.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Educational Psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively with families, schools and multi-agency professionals to make a lasting difference in children's lives. The Role

As an Educational Psychologist, you will use psychological theory, research and evidence-based practice to support children and young people with a wide range of learning, behavioural, emotional and developmental needs.

You'll be responsible for:

Delivering high-quality psychological assessments for children and young people aged 0–25.

Producing clear, evidence-based advice to support Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessments and Annual Reviews.

Working closely with families, schools, colleges and partner agencies to develop effective interventions and improve outcomes.

Supporting inclusive practice across educational settings through consultation, advice and training.

Contributing to early intervention and preventative work that enables children and young people to thrive.

Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support.

Maintaining professional standards while contributing to service development and continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for an Educational Psychologist who has:

A Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or recognised equivalent).

HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.

Experience writing high-quality psychological assessments and statutory advice.

A strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.

Excellent communication, consultation and relationship-building skills.

A passion for inclusion and improving outcomes for children and young people.

The ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team.
