We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a dedicated People & Culture team in a varied and influential generalist role. This permanent position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality HR advice, support managers and staff across the employee lifecycle, and contribute to service improvements, employee relations, recruitment, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and strategic people projects, including policy development, organisational change, engagement initiatives and process improvement.
£48,396 - £55,644
The ideal candidate will have gained experience within the Charity, Not for Profit or Education sector.
The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of UK employment law, broad HR generalist experience, and the confidence to manage a range of employee relations casework, including absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary and capability matters. You will be confident coaching managers, preparing documentation, advising on risk, supporting investigations and helping to resolve complex people issues in a fair, consistent and pragmatic way.
You will also play an active role in HR project initiatives, supporting work around policy review, employee engagement, wellbeing, EDI, recruitment improvements, HR systems, reporting, data insights and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, you will support a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture while helping to deliver ambitious People & Culture objectives.
Contract: Permanent
Key requirements: CIPD qualification or equivalent operational experience, strong employee relations knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
