We are recruiting on behalf of an exciting and growing specialist educational setting in South east London that supports pupils across a range of year groups with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and personalised learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Roles - TAs/HLTAs
As a Teaching Assistant or HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will work alongside experienced teachers and specialist professionals to support learners with a range of needs, including:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
* Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
* Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
* Additional complex SEND requirements
We Are Looking For Individuals Who:
* Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
* Are patient, resilient, and adaptable
* Can build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
* Have a genuine passion for making a difference
* Are committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment
HLTA Applicants Should Also Have:
* Previous experience leading groups or delivering interventions
* Confidence supporting teaching and learning across the curriculum
* Strong communication and organisational skills
