Location: Earls Colne, Essex
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (60-minute lunch break)
A stable manufacturing company, supplying high-quality solutions across the construction industry are looking for an enthusiastic Estimator to join their established estimating team at our Earls Colne site.

The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate quotations and supporting customers throughout the enquiry process. Working closely with the Estimating Supervisor, you will ensure projects are costed accurately while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing technical drawings and producing accurate take-offs and mark-ups.
Preparing detailed and competitive quotations that meet customer requirements.
Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email.
Managing and prioritising your workload in conjunction with the Estimating Supervisor.
Updating the company's internal quotation management system (4P).
Assist the estimating team with additional duties as required.
Developing an understanding of the manufacturing process through time spent within the production facilities to better understand material and labour costs.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and eager to learn. The successful candidate will possess:
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A professional and confident telephone manner.
Good organisational and time management skills.
A positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
The ability to produce accurate work while considering commercial factors.Previous experience in estimating, building design or the construction industry would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of Bluebeam or Autodesk CAD software would also be beneficial but is not essential.
