SEND Teaching Assistant - Northampton

Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Northampton to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term position with the potential to be extended.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential and staff are valued for the difference they make every day.

The Role:

Full-time, fixed-term position (32.5 hours per week, term time)
Supporting pupils with SEND within the classroom and in small group interventions
Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored support
Promoting independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
Supporting children's academic, social and emotional developmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND within a primary setting
Good understanding of the primary curriculum
Patient, caring and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
