Location: Petersfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Start Date: September

Are you a resilient, confident and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviour?

We are looking for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Petersfield from September. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, supporting pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural and learning support to help them thrive in the classroom.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
Build positive relationships with children who may display challenging behaviour.
Support learning, emotional regulation and social development.
Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals.
Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to remain calm under pressure.
A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
