Position: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Dagenham
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial facility in the Dagenham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable Monday-Friday role offering excellent training, career progression, and overtime opportunities.
What you'll do:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Service, maintain, and fault find on AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chilled water units, and refrigeration plant.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all equipment operates efficiently while meeting manufacturer specifications and compliance standards.
Complete routine inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and minor component replacements.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and support the wider engineering team with HVAC-related maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. What you'll bring:
City & Guilds / NVQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or an equivalent qualification.
F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
Experience maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
