We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and nurturing Reception Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis from January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who has a strong understanding of early years education and is committed to providing a rich, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children at the very start of their school journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS framework
Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
Contribute to the wider life of the school
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework
Experience delivering or supporting Read Write Inc phonics
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable:
Experience working in a Reception setting
A creative and flexible approach to curriculum delivery
A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
