Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Stevenage to recruit an experienced Reception Teacher for a full-time position starting on 1st September 2026.

The Role
As the Reception Teacher, you will:
Take full responsibility for a Reception class.
Deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
Create a stimulating, language-rich classroom where children learn through play and exploration.
Assess children's progress and plan learning that meets individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with parents and carers to support children's development.
Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive leadership team.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Recent experience teaching within Reception or the Early Years Foundation Stage.
A strong understanding of child development, phonics and the EYFS curriculum.
The ability to create an inclusive, nurturing and inspiring classroom environment.
High expectations for every child and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a school team.
