HR Adviser – Professional & Regulated Environment
Cheltenham | £35,000–£42,000 | Hybrid (1 day WFH)
We are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected organisation within professional services, who are seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join their growing team. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality HR support across a regulated, people‑focused environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding
* Leading recruitment activity: drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and providing structured feedback
* Supporting managers with employee relations matters including probation reviews, performance management and flexible working requests
* Delivering and coordinating training and development for managers and employees
* Managing the annual appraisal process and ensuring consistency across departments
* Assisting with monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely employee data
* Promoting wellbeing initiatives and supporting the wider employee benefits programme
* Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and managing the HR diary
* Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures
* Providing clear, pragmatic HR advice to managers and employees
* Supporting HR projects, including early careers and talent development
Key Skills & Experience
* CIPD qualified or currently studying
* Previous experience in an HR Adviser role
* Background in a professional or regulated sector
* Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with employees at all levels
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
