A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production / Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, shop-floor based role working within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring products meet strict quality, safety, and specification standards before dispatch.

You will be working closely with the Health & Safety and Quality Manager, supporting day-to-day quality assurance activity across the production lines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the factory environment rather than office-based QA work.

The Role

As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, carrying out inspections, and ensuring all units meet required standards before leaving site.

Key responsibilities include:

Inspecting manufactured units on the production line for quality, accuracy, and finish
Carrying out functional checks and basic testing of products
Identifying defects, non-conformances, and raising issues for corrective action
Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation
Working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time
Supporting continuous improvement activities across the shop floor
Ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures and safety standards
Escalating serious quality concerns to the Quality / H&S Manager
Supporting general manufacturing quality control processes as requiredAbout You

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment and a strong eye for detail.

You will bring:

Previous experience in QC, inspection, production, or manufacturing environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies
A practical, hands-on approach to work on the shop floor
Good communication skills when working with production teams
Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
Understanding of quality standards within a manufacturing setting
A proactive attitude with confidence to raise issues when neededWorking Pattern

Monday to Friday
Afternoon / evening shift (12:00–20:30)
